Dear Globalaw friends,

We are very happy and honoured to welcome you to the Globalaw GLEMEA 2024, taking place in the picturesque village of La Thuile in Val d’Aosta, Italy.

Before we delve into the exciting programme ahead, let us introduce you to the rich history of La Thuile. Nestled among the highest mountains of the Alps, Val d’Aosta boasts a heritage that is deeply intertwined with France, reflected not only in its history, but also in its official languages: Italian and French. This unique cultural blend adds a distinctive flair to our gathering, bridging connections across borders and fostering an environment of cross-cultural exchange.

Besides its unique ancient history, La Thuile boasts an incomparable natural and geological heritage, offering visitors a stunning panorama of the mountains with year-round snow. Among these are the Mont Blanc (4,810 m) and the emblematic Ruitor mountain with its impressive glacier (altitude 3,486 m). This stunning Alpine scenery sets the stage for our business programme, which will feature engaging discussions on various topics such as litigation funding, AI in the legal industry and global warming.

Business sessions will take place in the afternoon to leave attendees and guests plenty of time for outdoor and social activities in the morning. Ski enthusiasts will be able to hit the slopes of the Domaine San Bernardo, while non-skiers will embark on a breathtaking journey to the Sky Way Monte Bianco and explore the region’s historic castles. For the most adventurous we have arranged heli-skiing sessions on the Ruitor glacier, the ultimate off-track experience. A real once in a lifetime adventure!

Needless to say everyone will be able to enjoy delicious local Italian cuisine and superb wines.

Finally, instead of the traditional gala dinner we will welcome you all to a “party” dinner with live rock music and lots of atmosphere.
