Dear friends,

The Globalaw 2024 Annual Member’s Meeting (GLAMM) is coming up and we are very happy to host this event and welcome you all to our city and country.

Brazil is one of the most diverse places in the world in terms of culture, ethnicity, climate, landscapes and economy. It is known for its beautiful and rich natural resources and welcoming people. Brazil is one of the largest and most important economies in the world and is a country of continental dimensions – the largest in South America and the fifth largest in the world, with over 200 hundred million people. Located in the southeast of the country, São Paulo is Brazil’s largest city. It has a touristic appeal and is the true engine of the Brazilian economy, as well as its financial center. The city is known for its fast pace, impeccable cuisine, exciting nightlife and high buildings. To the surprise of many, São Paulo has beautiful parks and lots of green decorating its busy streets.

From September 25 – 28 we will enjoy nice moments together and you will experience true Brazilian culture and diversity.

Business sessions will take place at brand new Hotel Fasano São Paulo Itaim, located in one of the city’s best neighbourhoods - a privileged location due to its proximity to important business hubs. Fasano is a very traditional 5-star hotel chain in Brazil, specially chosen for you to have a lovely stay.

Social activities were planned so that you can experience the city as Brazilians do – from beach sports to national chocolate, caipirinhas and barbecue. We will open our schedule on Wednesday by welcoming you to our office for some drinks and canapés, followed by a nice dinner with a view from the 19th floor of our building.

On Thursday, we will enjoy a typical Brazilian lunch at one of the country’s best steakhouses. But rest assured: even if you prefer lighter or vegetarian options, this is the place to go. After lunch, we will have the opportunity to taste delicious, healthy, national and sustainable chocolate at Dengo with a tour of the chocolate making process.

On Friday, we have a special reason to celebrate: Globalaw’s 30th anniversary will be a Colorful Carnival party at the city’s best Jockey Club! We encourage men and women to include a touch of color to your Gala Dinner attire and enjoy good Brazilian music!

Last, but definitely not least, after days of hard work and lots of fun, we will relax without rules and strict schedules at a special place that will make you feel like you are inside a forest in the middle of the city. Join us for a day of nature, sports and relaxation at a city beach club!

If you are not a sports person, we have your back: simply unwind in this laid-back urban oasis with nice company and tropical cuisine. We want everyone to enjoy their own day according to personal preferences. Many things will be happening, and you get to choose what to do!

We are planning everything with great care and cannot wait to have you in Brazil! We hope you are excited as we are. These will be days to remember!
